The Australian Auto-Sport Alliance was established as a service organisation to motorsport. The AASA model allows competitors to utilise the Circuit Members’ offices as a “one-stop shop,” where motorsport participants can obtain permits, licences, vehicle passports, and all necessary documentation. For motorsport promoters, AASA can provide circuit and competitor insurance.
It is a member sanctioning body of the American-based equipment safety foundation, the SFI Foundation. Currently, AASA provides sanctioning across multiple disciplines, including circuit racing, tarmac rally, karting, and off-road.
