Premat left the track at Turn 4 and traversed the infield, where the car's front bar was pulled off in a ditch, before ending up at Turn 2.
A DJR Team Penske spokesperson has advised that the Frenchman was “a passenger” as a result of the brake issue, and reported that there was damage to the splitter, radiator, and bolt-on chassis rail extensions.
