Main Beach is set to become a car lover’s paradise with the Gold Coast gearing up to host the Tedder Ave’s ‘Fast Cars, Food and Fashion’ all day street party this Saturday.
Car enthusiasts are invited to see the unique collection of luxury and rare cars assembled for this distinct event; with over 5000 enthusiasts expected to attend the Tedder Ave Traders Association event.
On display for the day is an array of two and four-wheel machines, from Australia’s fastest four-cylinder Jet Racing Drag Car, V8 Supercars, a mint condition Indian Motorcycle, Harley Davidsons and a Triumph in addition to older style fire trucks for the kids.
Ian Valsileski, President of the Main Beach Tedder Ave Traders Association believes that the unique venue of Tedder Ave and activities on the day are not to be missed, and it is a great opportunity to see some show vehicles on display.
“Not only have we got an incredible array of dealer cars but many locals have offered to display their own rarely seen vintage and luxury cars,” said Valsileski
“So within the private collection you can expect to see Aston Martins, Porsches and Lamborghinisas well as vintage gems like GT Falcon 76 and 32 Roadster Hotrods.
“Everyone in the community is getting behind the street party, we are amazed at how many people are coming forward to offer their prized vehicles for display.”
Local retailers will be offering a wide array of promotions and specials, while family activities will include a fashion parade and children’s entertainment.
Entry is free for the event, which will be held from 9am – 9pm on Saturday August 13,Tedder Avenue, Main Beach.
