The team’s transition from Chevrolet to Toyota for 2026 included the ground-up build of two cars and the conversion of a Camaro.
Jones has now revealed the team started the build of a third new Supra in the last fortnight.
“We’ve done the rear roll hoop and we’re slowly piecing it together,” he said.
“We don’t have a set time to have this finished.
“It just depends on how much time we get down here, how much stuff we need to manufacture for the cars as we go along.”
The cars currently being campaigned by Andre Heimgartner and Cameron Hill marked BJR’s first complete in-house builds.
BJR opted to become an accredited Gen3 chassis builder last year, having previously received chassis from Pace Innovations.
Macauley Jones’ car meanwhile started life as a Camaro, raced throughout last season by Heimgartner.
