Supercars will sport a green Safety Car in 2021 courtesy of branding from the category's official fuel supplier.
The Ford Mustang will sport branding in deference to BP, a colour scheme which will also adorn the Race Control 1 support vehicle.
A Ford Focus ST will be at the disposal of Dr Carl Le as the Medical Car, while a Ford Fiesta ST will be utilised for Race Control 2.
“Safety is paramount to all of us at BP, so to have the opportunity to support the bp Ultimate Safety Car is something we're really proud of,” said Leigh Taylor BP, GM AsPac brand and communications.
Jamie Black, general manager of commercial for Supercars, added: “We're delighted that BP, our official fuel supplier, has elected to expand their partnership with Supercars to include our official vehicles, once again provided by our great partners at Ford.”
Ford has provided the vehicles for Supercars since 2019, primarily through the Ford Ranger Raptor as recovery vehicle.
