Both of Erebus Motorsport’s V8 Supercars will run with primary backing from oil firm Penrite at this weekend’s ITM Auckland Super Sprint.
The team’s Will Davison #9 entry debuted a Penrite livery at Bathurst that it will campaign for the remainder of the season.
Ash Walsh’s car is also set to sport Penrite backing in a one-off deal for New Zealand, with its regular #4 changed to #10 to promote the company’s 10 Tenths Racing Oils brand.
“I think it’s fantastic that Penrite will have both of our cars dressed in black for New Zealand,” said team owner Betty Klimenko.
“Since the start of our partnership, Penrite have really engaged with our team and the fans which is really great to see.
“Given all the positive comments we’ve had about the Penrite livery since Bathurst, I’m sure the fans are going to love seeing the two Penrite cars lining up on the grid in New Zealand.”
Walsh’s car will revert to the Wendy’s livery it campaigned at Bathurst and the Gold Coast for the final two rounds at Phillip Island and Sydney Olympic Park.
Championship rookie Walsh is one of three drivers in this weekend’s field that are yet to race a V8 Supercar at Pukekohe, but has experience of the venue in the local SuperTourer class.
