Championship-winning NASCAR team Furniture Row Racing has published a video showing its transporter being dispatched to a race for the final time.
The truck was sent to Homestead-Miami Speedway, where Martin Truex Jnr will attempt to defend his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series title having earned a spot in the Championship 4 on points.
Despite its success in recent times, Furniture Row Racing will close down after Sunday’s race (local time) due to a funding shortfall caused by the loss of a key sponsor.
Australian engineers Peter Craik and James Small are currently part of the team, although the latter will move with Truex Jnr and crew chief Cole Pearn to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2019.
