VIDEO: SuperUte in action at Norwell shakedown

Speedcafe.com has obtained vision of a SuperUte in action for the first time following the initial shakedown run at Norwell Motorplex.

An example of the Mitsubishi Triton turbo diesel powered dual cab SuperUte completed 50km of running at the Gold Coast facility last week.

The outing was the first run by a new generation SuperUte as the category continues preparations for its launch next year.

Paul Morris conducted laps in the Triton during the shakedown with the Supercars veteran impressed by the performance shown by the new machine.

The vision has emerged following the news that Holden has thrown its support behind the category which is expected to feature the Holden Colorado.

Supercars will homologate six dual cab Utes for the series including the Ford Ranger, Mazda BT-50, Toyota Hilux and the Isuzu D-Max.
