The Australian GT Championship has confirmed race formats for its sprint and endurance championships alongside a calendar for the newly created Trophy Series.
This year will see Australian GT expand to three series with a four round Endurance Championship and five event Trophy Series joining the six round sprint championship.
The CAMS Australian GT Championship will be contested over six rounds with four of the meetings hosting two 60 minute races featuring compulsory pitstops.
Adelaide's season opener will feature three 40 minute races, each including a mandatory pitstop, while the Australian Grand Prix meeting will see four 30 minute races as previously reported.
The four Australian Endurance Championship races at Phillip Island, Sydney Motorsport Park, Hampton Downs and Highlands Park will each be contested over 101 laps.
Meanwhile, the newly created Trophy Series for older specification GT cars will be hosted over five rounds with each meeting including two 50 minute races with a compulsory timed pitstop.
Eligible for current Australian GT GT3 Challenge, GT Trophy and GT4 class cars, the series, running with the Shannons Nationals, will begin at Sandown from April 1-3.
Winton will host the second round in June before visits to Sydney Motorsport Park and Queensland Raceway in July, with the final round at Phillip Island from September 9-11.
