Australian GT Championship squad AMAC Motorsport will compete in the upcoming Sepang 12 Hour GT endurance event.
The outfit owned by Australian GT regular Andrew Macpherson will contest the Malaysian event held at the Sepang circuit from December 9-13 with its IMAK backed Porsche GT3-R.
Experienced British driver James Winslow will join Macpherson and his AGT partner Brad Shiels for the race, now managed by Blancpain GT Series founder Stephane Ratel.
AMAC Motorsport will field the same driver line up in the IMAK Porsche for February’s Bathurst 12 Hour at Mount Panorama.
Two-time Australian Formula 3 champion Winslow, who joined Macpherson for the Clipsal 500 Australian GT opener, is looking forward to rejoining AMAC Motorsport for the two endurance classics.
“I have driven with Andrew previously and always enjoy competing with him and the team, Andrew continues to improve and has impressed me with his pace and dedication,” said Winslow.
“I’ve been involved with some coaching and it’s great to link up with him again now my schedule allows for these big events.
“Bathurst is a really special circuit, words just can’t do it justice while Sepang is a super technical track, and one of my favourites too.”
