Klaus Bachler was second-fastest on a 2:04.1499s in the #61 Earl Bamber Motorsport Porsche 911 that he shares with Ricardo Feller and Laurin Heinrich.

Team GMR put together a lap at the death to surge to third with a 2:04.1602s to finish the session 0.2610s off the pace in the #888 Mercedes-AMG.

There were only two noteworthy incidents in the 40-minute session. The first involved Anders Fjordbach, who spun on his own at Sulman Park.

The #86 High Class Racing Porsche 911 narrowly avoided hitting the concrete wall before slowly trundling back to the pit lane.

Factory Mercedes-AMG driver Fabian Schiller went off at Hell Corner in the #44 Tigani Motorsport entry. Following a brief stoppage, Schiller got pointed in the right direction.

Practice 4 on Friday at the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour gets underway at 4:40pm AEDT.
