IndyCar driver Sebastien Bourdais and GT ace Stefan Mucke will complete Chip Ganassi Racing’s Daytona 24 Hours driver line up.

The duo will pilot the American squad’s new Ford GTs which will make their competition debut at the famous twice around the clock endurance held from January 30-31.

Bourdais will team up with Dirk Muller and Joey Hand with the Frenchman set to sample Ford’s latest GT offering at this weekend’s Roar Before the 24 official test.

The 36-year-old has enjoyed success at the event after being part of the victorious Action Express squad which won the race in 2014.

German GT star Mucke will pilot the sister entry alongside Australian Ryan Briscoe and Brit Richard Westbrook.

The announcement follows shortly after he was named as one of Ford’s four drivers for this year’s assault on the FIA World Endurance Championship.

This year’s Daytona 24 Hours will feature a five strong contingent of New Zealand drivers headed by four-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon and new FIA WEC champion Brendon Hartley.

Defending winner Dixon and factory Porsche driver Hartley will join Chip Ganassi Racing’s prototype program.

Reigning Le Mans 24 Hours winner Earl Bamber will join Porsche’s GTLM factory effort.

V8 Supercars driver Shane van Gisbergen has secured a drive with Alex Job Racing’s GTD squad, while Richie Stanaway will feature in the factory GTD Aston Martin.
