Preston Hire Racing owner Charlie Schwerkolt will get behind the wheel himself when he races in the next round of The Endurance Karting Association (TEKA) Series.
Schwerkolt will race with Team 18 co-driver Karl Reindler and 2014 Kumho V8 champion Justin Ruggier in a fourth Preston Hire-backed entry at Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway on July 23.
The trio will share a brand new Joker chassis for the 5-hour 55-minute race around the 1024m circuit.
Lee Holdsworth would have joined his boss and co-driver in the kart, but will be absent due to a wedding that weekend.
The 2017 TEKA Series runs to a seven-round calendar across New South Wales and also Canberra, with most races at least four hours in duration.
The #13 Hellrazor team leads the A Grade class after the first four rounds of the series.
