Supercars has confirmed that Shell V-Power Racing managing director Ryan Story will join the Supercars Commission.
The championship's official website has reported that Story was successfully voted onto the series' rule making group ahead of this weekend's Vodafone Gold Coast 600.
Story will take the place of Garry Rogers Motorsport director Barry Rogers taking up the Alternate Commission member position and will be present in all the meetings.
Brad Jones, boss of Brad Jones Racing, was re-elected to the Board and Commission for a further two years.
Jones will join Nissan Motorsport's Todd Kelly and Tickford Racing's Tim Edwards as the team representatives on the Commission.
Supercars will continue to be represented by CEO Sean Seamer, Shane Howard (Chief Operating Officer) and outgoing Sporting and Technical director David Stuart.
