Entries full for Formula Ford at Bathurst 12 Hour

The 55-car grid for Formula Ford’s 50-year anniversary event at next year’s Bathurst 12 Hour has been filled in less than a week.

Event Category Manager Rowan Harman has advised Speedcafe.com that the entry list was in fact fully subscribed by midday on Saturday (September 1), barely over four days since entries opened on Tuesday morning (August 28).

There are now more than 10 entrants waiting on the reserve list which continues to grow, with entries formally closing on November 30.

The event will mark the 50th anniversary of Formula Ford racing in Australia and features a combination of Historic and Formula Ford 1600 Kent cars.

Next year’s Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour will also be supported by Combined Sedans, Group S Historic Sports Cars, and the Radical Australia Cup.

The event takes place from January 31-February 3.
