Penrite Racing will sport special liveries inspired by rock and roll legends Kiss on its Holden Commodores for the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 and Coates Hire Newcastle 500 events.
The famous American band has inked a partnership allowing the Melbourne squad to use its imagery and logos on its cars for David Reynolds and Anton De Pasquale.
The reveal comes ahead of the Australian leg of the Kiss ‘End of the Road’ world tour in November which will include an appearance at Supercars’ Newcastle 500 finale on November 23.
“Kiss is one of the biggest bands in the history of music and I am absolutely stoked to get the chance to race in the famous band colours, it’s a huge honour,” said Reynolds.
“The band has millions of fans around the world and the famous Kiss Army so this is a real privilege. We will be rocking the colours with pride on the cars and in all of our theming.
“We will also be pumping some of their biggest hits through the radio to fire us up. Fingers crossed we can give Kiss fans a double reason to celebrate.”
“We can’t wait for everyone to see the first ever Kiss Supercars,” Gene Simmons, Kiss co-lead singer added.
The special Penrite Racing Holdens will make their first appearance at the Gold Coast 600 from October 25-27.
