Todd Kelly’s Nissan Altima will sport fresh warpaint as long-time backer OneSteel Reinforcing takes naming rights sponsorship ahead of the Sydney Motorsport Park Super Sprint.
The OneSteel branding is a one-off before new primary sponsor Carsales takes over the position from the Sandown 500.
OneSteel Reinforcing have been on board with the Kelly operation since before it began to campaign Nissan’s at the start of the Car of the Future era.
“OneSteel Reinforcing have been a partner of the team almost since the beginning,” Todd Kelly said.
“They have been instrumental in allowing us to build what is probably one of the biggest and most advanced facilities in Australian motorsport.”
The livery change co-incides with Kelly who is set to become the eighth most capped driver in V8 Supercars/Australian Touring Car Championship at the Sydney meeting. The meeting will be his 209th round start since debuting in 1999.
“Our Nissan cars have always had a good balance at Sydney Motorsport Park,” Kelly said.
“Everyone has progressed but if we get it right there then hopefully it will have a lot of potential for us.”
