Following the traditional top 10 shootout, the Bathurst grid has been set and so have the 26 race entries in the BEKO Speedcafe.com win-a-fridge sweepstakes.
More than 2500 entries were received for the competition from almost every state and territory with the 26 finalists all provided with a car in today’s 161-lap Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
BEKO-backed Erebus brothers Will and Alex Davison, who will start from position 16 today, selected the winners via a random draw.
The tough news came for Debbie Hargraves of South West Rocks who drew the #2 HRT entry of Garth Tander and Warren Luff, which was withdrawn from the race after a massive crash yesterday.
The guys at BEKO have decided to show some compassion and will be sending Debbie a signed team hat as a consolation.
