Garry Rogers Motorsport has taken delivery of the pair of Renault Megane touring cars it will field in the inaugural TCR Australia Series.
The cars arrived at the team’s Melbourne workshop this morning ahead of the series’ opening round at Sydney Motorsport Park next weekend.
Reigning Super2 Series winner Chris Pither and former Supercars full-timer and Tickford racing co-driver James Moffat will pilot the cars in the new seven round series.
The squad has tentative plans in place to test the cars at Winton next week before heading to Sydney Motorsport Park.
GRM will field four cars in the series with its fleet including a pair of Alfa Romeo Giuliettas for Jimmy Vernon and Dylan O’Keeffe, with the latter to run under the Ashley Seward Motorsport banner.
