Ford Performance Racing will decide whether Kiwi John McIntyre or pole position hero Will Davison will start the Bathurst 1000 at a last minute strategy meeting in the team transporter this morning.
FPR completed their engineering debrief last night but has decided to leave their options of who will start Australia's Great Race until the 11th hour, mindful of the changeable Bathurst weather.
McIntyre is comfortable with whatever the team decides after playing a vital role in developing the Falcon to start from the optimum starting box for the 161-lap race.
