MotoGP has unveiled a provisional 2015 calendar which sees the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island retain its October slot.
The calendar mirrors the 2014 schedule with 18 races listed beginning with a trip to Qatar’s Losail circuit on March 29. The opening round will see Australian rising star Jack Miller make his premier class racing debut with LCR Honda.
Spain’s Valencia circuit will once again host the finale round on November 8 just two weeks after the Australian Grand Prix, due to take place on October 18.
The return of Donington Park is the only change to the schedule as the circuit plays host to the British Grand Prix on August 30, while construction of the new the Circuit of Wales venue, which will host the event from 2016, continues.
