Neale Muston won the final race of Round Five of the Radical Australia Cup at Sydney Motorsport Park, while Race 2 was a non-event after a major incident.
In a carbon copy of the Race 1 start, Muston took the lead from Tim Berryman on the outside of Turn 1 and never looked back from there.
Berryman kept his fellow SR8 competitor honest at the front, the lead not exceeding a second for the duration of the 10 lap race, but never mounted a serious challenge for the victory.
Peter White had a lonely run to third after attempting to throw car #27 up the inside of Berryman at Turn 2 on the opening lap, ahead of Michael Shaw, who again topped the SR3 class, and Chris Medland.
The earlier race was red-flagged early in proceedings and thus declared a non-result after John Corbett came to grief on the opening lap.
Corbett had made a good start, but swapped ends in car #66 on the still wet/dry track out of Turn 3 and clouted the inside wall
Berryman continues to lead the SR8 class championship and Shaw the SR3 class and outright ahead of the penultimate round at Phillip Island on 20-21
