Fabian Coulthard will adopt a new number for this weekend’s Watpac Townsville 400.
The Shell V-Power Racing driver will run #333 instead of his regular #12 as part of the team’s ongoing relationship with sponsor Three Threes Condiments, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this weekend.
The #333 was last used in the series by Michael Patrizi, driving for Paul Cruickshank Racing in 2009.
Three Threes Condiments and the team will also celebrate the event in a number of other ways, working in conjunction with Supercars on a range of activations in the Townsville community.
The biggest of these will be the grand prize of a fishing trip on the Great Barrier Reef alongside Australian motorsport legend and Shell V-Power Racing Team co-owner Dick Johnson.
Meanwhile, Coulthard is set to reach a milestone of his own at Townsville with Sunday’s race his 400th start in the series.
The Kiwi is currently second in the standings, some 319 points behind team-mate Scott McLaughlin.
Action at Townsville begins on Friday with opening practice scheduled for 1055 AEST.
