V8 Supercars remains coy over how its $241million TV rights deal will roll out to viewers.
The new media rights deal was announced by the category last week but vital questions remain.
In the wake of the fresh six-year agreement which will see the series broadcast on Fox Sports and the Ten Network, there remains trepidation on how the coverage will be distributed from the start-up in 2015.
It is certain that some elements of the broadcast will be reserved exclusively on subscription television which has already caused an outcry from those fans who do not have or do not plan to have PayTV.
When challenged by Speedcafe.com shortly after the announcement last week, V8 Supercars chief executive James Warburton said the finer details of the distribution of coverage will not be made public until the release of the 2015 calendar later next year.
What is known is that Fox will broadcast every practice and qualifying sessions including support categories live in HD.
