PREDICTOR: Frosty favourite for Gold Coast win

V8 Supercars drivers cool off on the beaches of Surfers paradise ahead of the ARMOR ALL Gold Coast 600

V8 Supercars drivers cool off on the beaches of Surfers paradise ahead of the ARMOR ALL Gold Coast 600

Bathurst 1000 winners Mark Winterbottom and Steven Richards have been tipped to take out the PIRTEK Endurance Cup according to players of the Castrol EDGE V8 Predictor fantasy game.

Victory at the 2013 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 and previous winning form at the Armor All Gold Coast 600 track has the Pepsi Max Crew FPR drivers high favourites for a Surfers Paradise win.

Never far behind and tipped to be up in the mix is current championship leader Jamie Whincup and his co-driver Paul Dumbrell who will be pressing for the PIRTEK Endurance Cup win.

One strong pairing who have the bookies choice and that of the Castrol EDGE V8 Predictor contingent is Holden Racing Team’s James Courtney and  Greg Murphy. As one of the most experienced pairings in the field they are a fair tip amongst predictors.

Maximising your chance at winning the ultimate V8 experience starts by signing up to the Castrol EDGE V8 Predictor – exclusive to Speedcafe.com.

The ARMOR ALL Gold Coast 600 is taking place this weekend and you have until midnight (AEST) tonight (Friday October 25) to finalise your team – giving you the advantage of knowing some of Sunday’s grid placings.

All 28 cars will run on a soft compound Dunlop tyre and maximising the tyre life will be critical this weekend.

The Gold Coast 600 event marks the final round of the ‘PIRTEK Enduro Cup’ – the last of the two-driver races of 2013.

Practice will commence on-track action on Friday, with qualifying and a 300km race to be held on both Saturday and Sunday.

If you’re having trouble making predictions for the weekend, check out who the experts think will perform best at the Surfers Paradise circuit.

Here’s the experts predictions for the ARMOR ALL Gold Coast 600:
