Craig Lowndes, David Reynolds, Russell Ingall and Castrol EDGE V8 Predictor super turbo chargers were the most successful competitors at the Armor All Gold Coast 600 weekend.
Remarkably the trio of Lowndes, Reynolds and Ingall all finished square on 240 points for the Surfers Paradise weekend with both Reynolds and Lowndes picking up race wins and a pole position along the way.
If two or more drivers end the weekend first equal with the same accumulated points score for the event, picking either driver as first will make you eligible for 10 points, with 5 being awarded if you picked either driver to finish second.
The same principle would apply if the drivers you selected finished third and fourth equally and so on.
The top three Castrol EDGE V8 Predictors for the round were: super turbo chargers (UK), Vanwall (UK) and Galaxie (AUS) rounding out the podium.
In the Castrol EDGE V8 Predictor overall standings Acc-sell-or-ators remains on top with a 12 point advantage over Kiwichik racing with Raid Photography rounding out the top-three.
The weekly prize winner for Round 12 of the V8 Supercar Championship at Surfers Paradise wins a fantastic Castrol EDGE Racing prize pack filled with plenty of merchandise goodies.
Among the Experts, Russell Ingall took out the round amassing 32 points with the Speedcafe.com Team in second. The effort means that the Speedcafe.com Team has now reclaimed the lead of the Expert standings by two points over sportscar racer Oliver Gavin.
Not far behind is the 2005 V8 Supercar Champion Russell Ingall on a total of 186 season prediction points.
With the silly season fast approaching, it’s not too late to join in on the action. There are still three events left in the V8 Supercar Championship series with plenty of awesome prizes on offer including Castrol merchandise packs and the fantastic major prize of the ultimate Castrol EDGE V8 experience which is a trip for two to the 2014 Clipsal 500 – including a hot lap of the track.
