Sebastian Vettel led a Red Bull 1-2 to wrap up Friday practice for the Singapore Grand Prix.

After trading blows on the soft tyres with Webber gaining a slight advantage, Vettel turned a lap of 1:44.249s to beat Webber by .604s once the pair had moved to the supersoft rubber.

Nico Rosberg was third fastest on a promising opening day for Mercedes which has shown a distinct liking for high downforce circuits this season.

Team-mate Lewis Hamilton was fourth quickest after going fastest in the opening session.

Romain Grosjean managed to finish with the fifth fastest time with Fernando Alonso sixth ahead of Jenson Button’s McLaren, Kimi Raikkonen with Adrian Sutil and Sergio Perez rounding out the top 10.
