Mies has been a familiar face Down Under, competing in the Bathurst 12 Hour and the local GT scene with Audi. In recent years, the German driver has become a staple of the Ford line-up.
The two-time Bathurst 12 Hour winner took to Charlotte Motor Speedway earlier this year to get a taste of Supercars under the watchful eye of Johnson.
