Organisers of the TA2 Muscle Car Series have announced a seven event 2020 schedule including an appearance alongside the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship to kick start the season.
Adelaide will host a non-championship invitational event as part of the Superloop 500 in February before the series proper begins with six points paying rounds.
That will see the category run on a mixture of platforms including the Motorsport Australia Championships at Sydney Motorsport Park and Winton, and AMRS at Queensland Raceway and Sydney Motorsport Park during the middle of the year.
“We have been blown away by the support after just two short years on the national stage and it has grown far quicker than we could have imagined,” said series owned Peter Robinson.
“Our philosophy overall is to give our competitors the best bang-for-buck race experience at the lowest possible price and the 2020 calendar reflects a nice mix of high-profile events with live television combined with traditional tracks and events that have supported the growth of TA2 in the past, all aimed at keeping the overall entry cost as low as we can for the competitor.”
The final two events are yet to be fully confirmed; a standalone event at Queensland Raceway in October and the finale at the Bathurst International.
