Team Penske drivers have offered their messages of support to Shell V-Power Racing’s Scott McLaughlin ahead of this weekend’s Coates Hire Newcastle 500 title decider.
Drivers from the Team Penske stable including NASCAR racer Ryan Blaney and IndyCar stars Helio Castroneves and Simon Pagenaud have recored videos showing their support for McLaughlin.
McLaughlin holds a 14-point lead over Red Bull Holden Racing Team’s Shane van Gisbergen.
Meanwhile, legendary team owner Roger Penske has flown into to Newcastle today to witness the title decider.
Last week Penske was celebrating a title success in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series for driver Joey Logano.
