The Trofeo entry is among a now six-strong line-up of Ferraris
A trio of Ferrari 458s are among seven additional entries for the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour confirmed by race organisers this morning.
Ferraris from Clearwater Racing, Vicious Rumour Racing and Trofeo Motorsports add to the Maranello Motorsport and two AF Corse 458s already confirmed on an initial list released last month .
Malaysian-based Clearwater has competed in the event for each of the last three years, clocking up podium finishes in 2012 and 2013.
Although yet to be confirmed, the squad will have a rejuvenated driver line-up for 2015, with previous stalwarts Craig Baird and Matt Griffin expected to head to the M Motorsport Lamborghini and AF Corse squads respectively.
Owned by businessman-racer Mok Weng Sun, Clearwater recently finished one-two in the Sepang 12 Hours, where its driver line-up featured Ferrari factory pilot Gianmaria Bruni.
Melbourne-based Vicious Rumour is meanwhile looking to make its first start in the Bathurst 12 Hour after the Tony De Felice-owned entry crashed out during practice this year .
Jim Manolios’ Trofeo outfit competed in the event last year with its Corvette GT3 and will return with a 458 recently purchased from Tony Quinn.
Peter Edwards’ soon-to-be-imported Bentley Continental GT3 has also been officially added to the entry, bringing the Class A line-up to 21 cars.
Other fresh entries consist of a Class B Porsche 997 GT3 Cup Car for Richard Gartner, Peter O’Donnell’s BMW 335i (Class D) and a new Class E Subaru BRZ from Gary Morgan.
Entries will remain open until December 11.
