Toro Rosso’s new Formula 1 challenger made its first public appearance at today’s pre-season test at Barcelona.
The Red Bull junior team unveiled its STR11 in a blue testing livery with Carlos Sainz given the task of completing its first laps at the Circuit de Catalunya.
A switch from Renault to year-old Ferrari engines has forced the team to re-design its car to accommodate the power unit, delaying the unveiling of its 2016 livery.
The change of power unit is predicted to propel the team ahead of its sister Red Bull operation, who will continue with Renault power this year.
Sainz will hand over the testing duties to team-mate Max Verstappen on Tuesday.
