Two fresh international races will be added to the V8 Supercars Championship calendar in 2014.
The total number is expected to grow to six by 2015, according to the sport's outgoing executive chairman Tony Cochrane.
Among those expected to join the calendar in 2014 is a street race in Macau, alongside the celebrated international Formula 3 race.

There are several possibilities for a second new race, with V8 Supercars presumably keen to twin a race in South America with the Austin Texas event that kicks off next year.
The model of lessening the costs was set by the experience in the Middle East.
When Bahrain first hosted a V8 race in 2006, the category managers sought another race in the region with Abu Dhabi eventually being added to the calendar in 2010.
However, Bahrain pulled the plug on its contract in 2010, leaving Abu Dhabi without a twin.
With Macau a hot favourite to be added other Asian possibilities include several races that have previously been on the radar – including Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia and South Korea.
“The two extra internationals will make the number of overseas rounds grow to five,” Cochrane told Speedcafe.com
“We've got a number of foreign destinations now seriously working with us on dates.
“Clearly in 2014 we will add two more and in 2015 we will have one or two more.”
Cochrane has laid his cards on the table as he prepares to exit the Gold Coast-based headquarters of V8 Supercars in the next couple of weeks.
“Whilst I'm stepping down, I don't have any problem thinking that this sport will have six international events by 2015.”
The next event on the V8 Supercars calendar will be held on the streets of Surfers Paradise for the Armor All Gold Coast 600 on October 19-21.
