V8 Supercars drivers Rick Kelly and Paul Dumbrell will enter their second year as radio hosts with an expanded audience.
The V8 duo co-host a weekly radio program – V8 Nation – and after one season behind the microphone, the pair's program has gathered momentum, increasing its reach.
After starting off being broadcast to less than 50 radio stations, V8 Nation can now be heard on more than 200 – plus the addition of New Zealand to its growing list.
The V8 Nation radio program is produced in conjunction with Croc Media. Dumbrell, Kelly and Cameron Luke host the weekly pre-recorded programs.
To celebrate the start of the pair's second year as radio hosts, Croc Media organised a fun karting day in Melbourne for sponsors and supporters of the show.
Speedcafe.com's Grant Rowley – a contributor to V8 Nation's news section on the weekly program – joined in on the fun at the kart track.
In the video below, he spoke to Kelly and Dumbrell about the success of the radio show in its first year.
And for the record, Dumbrell won the karting final, with Rowley second and Kelly off the podium!
