Supercars star Garth Tander will return to the Australian Endurance Championship in New Zealand, the release of a 34 car entry list for Hampton Downs and Highlands Park has confirmed.
The Holden Racing team driver will pilot a Jamec Pem Racing Audi R8 alongside car owner Steve McLaughlan for the Hampton Downs 101 (October 28-30) and the Highlands Park 101 (November 11-13).
He will also participate in the final round of the Australian GT sprint series at Highlands Park.
Tander partnered McLaughlan in the opening round of the Australian Endurance Championship at Phillip Island in May.
As previously reported, the event feature fellow Supercars full-time driver Michael Caruso in a Kelly Racing entered Nissan GT-R GT3 that he will share with Australian GT Academy winner Matt Simmons.
The Japanese marque will also be represented by a New Zealand-based GT-R GT3 to be driven by Clark Proctor and Andrew Porter.
The series is set to welcome factory McLaren GT driver Come Ledogar, who is listed to drive a Tekno McLaren 650S at Highlands Park alongside Grant Denyer.
The Frenchman lifted the Blancpain Endurance Series crown alongside Kiwi Supercars star Shane van Gisbergen and McLaren factory ace Rob Bell this year.
Australian Endurance Championship leader Nathan Morcom will partner Denyer in the #59 McLaren at Hampton Downs, while his co-driver for the season finale in the #60 is yet to be announced.
Two-time Bathurst 1000 winner Tony Longhurst will make his Australian Endurance Championship debut as part of a two-car Aston Martin effort from Miedecke Stone Racing.
Longhurst will team up with Kiwi Richard Moore while Sydney Motorsport Park 101 winners Andrew and George Miedecke will share the other Vantage GT3.
Confirmed last month, Supercars legend Greg Murphy will come out of retirement to drive Tony Quinn’s Aston Martin, while Klark Quinn set to share his McLaren 650S with drift star Mike Whiddett.
Supercars co-drivers Tony D’Alberto, David Russell, Warren Luff, Dean Canto, Cameron McConville, Steven Richards, Craig Baird and Matt Campbell all feature on the entry list.
