Jason Bargwanna has topped the first of four practice sessions to be held today at the Sydney Olympic Park Street Circuit.
Bargwanna’s best time of 1:29.02s saw the Jana Living Racing Commodore 0.03s quicker than the Fujitsu Racing entry of Michael Caruso.
The Falcons of Paul Dumbrell and Tony D’Alberto rounded out the fastest four, while Todd Kelly, Dean Fiore, Karl Reindler, Jason Bright, James Moffat and Russell Ingall completed the top 10.
Bright will decide later today whether he’ll compete in the weekend’s races, after the recent aggravation of a rib injury left him on the sidelines two weeks ago at Sandown.
The second bottom 50% practice session will get underway at 1155 local time, while the first all-in session is scheduled for 1315.
