Aparecida Schnuck, the mother-in-law of Formula 1 tsar Bernie Ecclestone, has been set free by her kidnappers.
According to police, Schnuck was freed with no apparent ransom being paid.
Kidnappers last week demanded $48.7 million AUD be paid after she was taken in Sao Paulo near Interlagos.
The head of Sao Paulo police said that Schnuck is reported to be in good health while authorities have arrested two people in connection with the kidnapping.
She is the 67-year-old mother of Ecclestone’s third wife Fabiana Flosi.
