Will Brown has edged series leader Bryce Fullwood to first position in the Warm Up session for this afternoon’s Dunlop Super2 Bathurst 250 mini-enduro.
Brown had two separate spells at the top of the timesheet, the latter of which began just before the chequered flag when he took the #38 Eggleston Motorsport VF Commodore to a 2:06.8825s.
With the 15-minute session designed to allow teams the opportunity to practice the unusual element of Super2 pit stops, Fullwood did not set a representative lap time until his third run.
That was a 2:07.0359s which put the #16 MW Motorsport Altima fastest at that point, and he backed that up with a 2:07.0605s and a 2:06.8830s on his final two laps.
Jordan Boys (#49 Image Racing VF Commodore) was third at 0.5721s off the pace, ahead of Thomas Randle (#5 Tickford FGX Falcon) and Ash Walsh (#35 Matt Stone Racing VF Commodore).
The 41-lap, 250km enduro is due for a start at 1500 local time/AEDT.
