Erebus has unveiled new liveries for its Virgin Australia Supercars Championship drivers David Reynolds and Dale Wood.
After earlier in the day announcing that CRC had joined the Holden team as a partner, the outfit lifted the covers from David Reynolds' #9 Commodore and newcomer Wood's #99 machine.
Reynolds' Holden features more pronounced graphics while Wood's charge features a flashy design for longtime backer GB Galvanizing.
Erebus simultaneously announced that former DJR Team Penske co-driver Luke Youlden has been confirmed as joining Reynolds for the Pirtek Enduro Cup races while Chris Pither will link with Wood.
Reynolds is preparing for his second season with the Melbourne squad after his stint with Prodrive Racing Australia.
“We finished last year with really good momentum so I'm really excited for what's to come,” Reynolds said.
“The boys have built me a new car and it's special because it's a new chapter in our story.
“I'm really looking forward to our first test day next week, it's the first time in my entire career that I've had a new chassis, so I'm looking forward to driving something new.”
Wood moves across after a single season with Nissan Motorsport.
“Lots of new things this year, new team, new car and new number; I think #99 has a nice ring to it,” Wood said.
“So far so good, everything is feeling nice and comfortable and I'm looking forward to kicking the year off.”
Youlden will bring a wealth of experience to the table with the Bathurst 1000 this year marking his 18th start in the classic.
“I've known Dave for a long time and his personality is infectious and his talent is unquestionable, so I'm really looking forward to driving with him,” Youlden said.
“Coming from the dark side back to the red team, I'm really looking forward to getting back in a Holden.
“I am hoping this car suits my natural driving style, and I know Dave is quite aggressive, so I'm looking forward to seeing if I can match him and move up the field together.”
Pither is excited to be back with Wood after the pair joined forces for the long distance events in 2014.
“I'm really excited to pair with Dale again, and to be part of Erebus for the first time is also exciting and Sandown can't come around quick enough,” Pither said.
“Off the back of driving full time in 2016, it puts me in a pretty good place, I feel comfortable and confident unlike previous years when I didn't have as many miles up.”
