Ford Performance Racing will reveal the livery of its first Car of the Future Falcon tomorrow morning.
Ahead of an expected track debut next month, the factory Ford team will lift the lid on the look of its first new regulation V8 Supercar tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6am.
Unlike rivals Triple Eight Race Engineering who ran its COTF two weeks ago, FPR elected to delay the first phase of its testing until all of the control components became available.
With fuel cells now in the country (CLICK HERE for Speedcafe.com's earlier story), FPR is gearing up for its maiden test at Winton Motor Raceway next month.
The car that will be used as the initial test mule is actually the third chassis constructed by the team. The first and second chassis, plus the test car, will feature as part of the team's racing program next year. FPR will build as many as five cars for 2013.
FPR drivers Mark Winterbottom and Will Davison currently sit second and third in the 2012 V8 Supercars Championship.
