Fuchs Lubricants has confirmed it will be naming right sponsor for the Fuchs Triple Crown Final at Calder Park Raceway that will see top-line Top Fuel racing return to the iconic Melbourne venue.

All of the leading stars of Australia’s Top Fuel scene will compete, including Phil Lamattina, Darren Morgan and Darren DiFilippo.

Over 200 competitors across all classes will attend the last of the ‘triple crown’ events, to be held on November 19.

“The Top Fuel cars will be running an exciting new 1000 Foot format direct from the USA which is sure to pull a big crowd.” explained Ian McArthur, General Manager of Calder Park Raceway.

“Calder Park Raceway is thrilled to work with Fuchs Lubricants to debut such a momentous occasion.”

At last weekend’s Australian Nationals at Sydney Dragway, five of the major titles went to Victorian teams. Managing Director for Fuchs Lubricants Australasia Wayne Hoiles says that bringing Top Fuel back to Melbourne was the key to his company’s involvement.

“Fuchs Lubricants has been involved in drag racing for many years and have been very committed to bring Top Fuel racing back to Victoria – the sports capital of Australia,” Hoiles said.

“Our head office is based in Melbourne so it is a natural fit for us to support this event and showcase the sport to our local customers, staff and racing fans.”
