Jack Perkins has confirmed that he will back up for a second round of the Dunlop Super2 Series at next weekend’s Queensland Raceway event.
Perkins returned to Eggleston Motorsport (EMS) in Round 3 of the current campaign at Townsville earlier this month, taking over the entry driven by Dean Fiore in Adelaide and Perth.
The Mobil 1 Mega Racing Pirtek Enduro Cup co-driver had been hopeful of staying in the #54 EMS Commodore for the following round, which he has now confirmed on social media.
Perkins had a challenging time last time out in Townsville, securing sixth on the grid in Armor All Qualifying for Race 1 only to be turned around on the first lap.
He was eventually classified 10th in the race before finishing eighth from 13th on the grid in Race 2.
Perkins is set to again join Will Brown and Justin Ruggier at EMS when Round 4 of Super2 supports the Century Batteries Ipswich SuperSprint on July 26-28.
