IndyCar driver Mike Conway will make his V8 Supercars debut at the Armor All Gold Coast 600, pairing with Taz Douglas in the #30 iSelect Commodore.
The Brit currently competes in the IZOD IndyCar Series, driving for A.J. Foyt Enterprises. He is in his fourth season in the category and currently sits 19th in the standings.

Conway, 29, is looking forward to his V8 debut.
“I’m very excited to be racing for Lucas Dumbrell at Surfers this year and want to thank them for the opportunity,” says Conway.
“It will be my first time driving a car like that so I can’t wait to get behind the wheel in October.”
Conway has tasted success on many of the world’s great street tracks. He won the Macau Grand Prix, IndyCar’s Long Beach Grand Prix and a GP2 race at Monaco.
He also won the 2006 British Formula 3 Championship.
Conway’s career was hampered, however, in a huge crash on the last lap of the 2010 Indianapolis 500. Conway made contact with the back of Ryan Hunter-Reay, launching his car into the catch fencing. He was sidelined with multiple leg fractures and a compression fracture to his T3 vertebrae.
The Armor All Gold Coast 600 will be held on October 19-21.
