Chaz Mostert will spearhead the MARC GT BMW M6 GT3 in the ever-blossoming Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour.

Mostert is the ninth former Bathurst 1000 winner to join the world class field in the M6 coupe.

After testing the M6 at Bathurst late last year, Mostert will be joined by Mackay driver Morgan Haber who has experience with the team having contested GT Asia races in the same car last year.

Max Twigg, a triple Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Challenge class winner, completes the driver roster.

Twigg has garnered plenty of experience with the M6 having co-driven the Steven Richards factory-supported BMW Team SRM entry in Australian GT last year.

“We’re pleased that this has come together and we have such a strong group of drivers assembled to drive the BMW,” MARC GT’s Ryan McLeod said.

“The program has undergone some changes since we tested the car at Bathurst last November but what we will arrive with this February is a very strong team.

“Morgan is experienced in these cars and knows what it takes to be quick and to go the distance, while we’re also pleased to have Max join the team. He’s hugely experienced and also right up to speed on what the M6 needs, having spent all last year driving it in Australian GT.”

Sponsor and livery for the M6, which will run alongside the fleet of MARC Cars Australia Invitational class entries, is expected to be made closer to the race.
