Why smell like a man when you can smell like a V8.
That’s the catch tag for the first-ever V8 Supercar inspired cologne – Eau De Engine – released by Vodafone, principal sponsor of V8 Supercar champions TeamVodafone, and the alpha male partnership of Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes.
According to the makers of Eau De Engine, the new fragrance for men “embodies the essence of heroism, uninhibited masculinity and V8 power, through the tantalising scent of burning rubber.”
Eau De Engine’s aroma will debut ahead of this year’s Sydney Telstra 500 and provide lucky spectators with the chance to finally know the unrivalled joy of smelling like a Bathurst champion.
“Both Jamie and I have been fortunate enough to climb to the top of the V8 mountain and inhale the rarefied air usually reserved only for V8 motor racing winners,” said Lowndes.
“This is a chance for all Australians, not just motor sport enthusiasts, to know exactly what that smells like.”
Whincup, who will fight for his third-consecutive V8 title this weekend, brought further light to the philosophy behind Eau De Engine.
“There is nothing like the sweet smell of success, mixed with grease and burnt rubber,” he said.
“Behold the scent of motorsport passion! May the true essence of this great sport ignite the nostrils, and unleash the zeal and passion of the Australian public.”
