V8 Supercars' 2010 brand campaign featuring international superstar Pink has won two awards at the prestigious Promax Awards.
The V8 Supercar campaign received gongs for the ‘Best Sports Promo Category' and the ‘Best Sports Event Promo Category' for its applications as a Seven Neetwork on-air cross-promotion with the sport.
The Promax Awards recognise excellence in promotion, branding, advertising and marketing in electronic and broadcast media in Australia and New Zealand.
V8 Supercars Australia secured international music sensation Pink as the sport's ambassador from 2010 (through to 2012) as part of its Greatest Show on Wheels brand campaign.
“It is the biggest campaign, by a long, long way, that V8 Supercars has embarked on and has paid handsome dividends with the international acclaim it has received,” V8 Supercars Australia Chairman Tony Cochrane said.
“To receive, through Seven, these two prestigious awards is again recognition of V8 Supercars as a market leader and innovator.
