The new Ford Mustang Cup Series NASCAR has made its first public on-track appearance with 2018 champion Joey Logano behind the wheel for a drifting session.
Logano and champion drifter Vaughn Gittin Jnr, in his own Mustang drift car, put on a show on the Charlotte roval.
The Mustang will race in the top tier of NASCAR for the first time next year, when the nameplate will also return to Australian touring car racing in the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.
