Stefan Bradl will miss the German Grand Prix for the second successive year following a crash during the morning warm-up.
The German rider has been diagnosed with a concussion which has seen officials declare Bradl unfit to compete in today's race at the Sachsenring.
Bradl, who qualified 17th for the German Grand Prix, lost control of his bike in tricky wet conditions at Turn 7 during the warm-up.
The 26-year-old was able to walk away from the accident.
A fractured right hand ruled the former LCR Honda rider out of last year's race at the Sachsenring.
Team-mate Dani Pedrosa topped the times in warm-up from LCR Honda's Cal Crutchlow and Australia's Jack Miller.
