McElrea Racing has secured a one-off sponsorship deal for this weekend’s Porsche City Index Carrera Cup round at Barbagallo Raceway.
Tool brands Toledo Tools and Knipex have thrown their support behind leading driver Alex Davison after the team recently announced it had split with original partner Simjen.

Toledo Tools and Knipex will feature prominently on Davison’s Porsche 997 GT3 Cup car, with each brand receiving major signage along the sides of the car.
Davison won the opening round at the Clipsal 500 and currently sits second in the title chase behind Craig Baird.
Team principal Andy McElrea is pleased to have extra support for the event.
“It’s great to have Toledo Tools and Knipex on board with us in Perth.” McElrea said.
“Alex and the entire team are committed to nothing less than winning each of the three races and reclaiming the lead of the championship. We look forward to producing a great result for Toledo Tools and Knipex this weekend.”
