Bathurst 12 Hour race organisers have confirmed a heavily revised television package for next February’s 11th running of the once-around-the-clock endurance race.
The new deal will see Sydney production company AVE take charge of both the live online streaming and post-produced highlights package, with the highlights to be broadcast on SBS a week after the race is held.
The move will see the online feed feature onboard cameras for the first time, with four ‘live onboards’ set to be used.
This year’s agreement with Speed TV that saw the subscription channel broadcast the final three hours of the race live has not been extended.
The 2013 Bathurst 12 Hour will take place on February 10.
